When Terrell and I officially decided to move forward, the process started all over again. How would we integrate who he was and his vision into Soultry Aura.  What would the brands aesthetic be? What candles would we do.? How many? How would we name them? What color and what kind of vessels?  How would we come up with fragrances unique to us? Packaging? Fulfillment, website, marketing. It all needed to be considered and done, or redone.

At this time we are mid-pandemic. Supply chain issues abound. We wanted to re-launch with the addition of Terrell’s candles in March, then April, then June. The hardest phone calls were the ones that I had to make to say that we wouldn’t make our timelines. Though, it was no fault of my own and simply the nature of the supply chain at that given time, I didn’t want to disappoint. I’m a person of my word and if I say I’m going to do something, I’m going to do it and on time.

After what felt like forever, we were finally able to soft launch on 8.1.2021.   We had candles, but limited boxes due to delays in manufacturing and port congestion during shipping. It felt like forever until we had all of our boxes.  But we were able to get our candles out there and that’s what mattered.   Candles were selling, word was getting out and so it all began. Again.
